WSF COUNTRY SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SPONSOR INVESTMENT PROGRAM:

To support sustainable development with WSF in your country, we offer a standard program: The Country SD SIP is available at the cost of $ 0,5 million for UNFCCC LoanScheme countries and $ 1 million for the other.

It contains seven core values:
1. Office plus 5 general staff and 10 project staff
2. Connection with UN, Major Groups, and main NGOs
3. Starting 10 large scale sustainable projects deploy
4. Deploy of UN Post 2015 Agenda targets
5. Sponsor Lottery integration for extra fundraising
6. Monitoring and Keeping Alive program
7. Education programs

The process:
1. Appointing a CDPM - Country Development Program Manager
2. Investigation of the countries INDC - Intended Nationally Determined Contribution - and SDG 2030 Agenda
3. Gathering main contacts information
4. Listing of CDM projects in the region
5. Producing a list with 10 large scale projects
6. Agreement with partners and government to realize the projects
7. Signing and cashing the SD SIP Agreement
8. Opening the WSF local Country Office
9. Producing UN (LoanScheme request &) PDD -
Project Design Documents
10. Getting additional funding
11. Starting CDM and Post 2015 Agenda projects

The WSF has developed a toolbox for country analysis and planning. Through application of the CDPM via the toolbox, the WSF can obtain a better insight of what a country needs in terms of sustainability and who potential partners and stakeholders may be. After completion of the toolbox, we will fine-tune the "10 Projects" draft plan by fitting it in "WSF Triple P Matrix": Standard Project Estimates Returns for Planet, People, and Profit.

After having done that, our Marketing department will produce a brochure for promotion. This brochure contains an introduction of the WSF, a short vision of Tanzania's opportunities, the 10 projects proposal (100M$), the contacts and potential partners (PP) overview.

With this the CDPM and the WSF Team are ready to contact the Government, PP, and 1M$ to 20M$ investors (1MS investment and up to 19M$ sponsoring). The Sponsor-Investor will get six Main Profit Scenario's:

1. A guaranteed return on investment of 10M$ within 5 to 10 years, investment back within 2 year;

2. Extra investment "First Right" to related projects loans up to 80M$ within 2 year;

3. "First Investment Right" multiple spin-off loans for later projects within the country;

4. Involvement in Promotion and Marketing of the Country Program, Projects, Procurement, Production, and Products Sales;

5. Co-beneficiary of estimated sustainable Returns for Planet and People;

6. Member of the WSF Global Network - Partner promotion, UN & WSF SDGs 2030 Agenda Science & Projects insights (CDM, SDG, UN related finance), Triple-P and investment opportunities.

Matching Sustainability Country planning with its Real Need.

To become Real Sustainable

We would like to research and publish the mismatch in sustainability planning, complete with a set of advice on how to correct the "gap". We will cooperate with international institutes and Dutch Ministeries, which will contribute the basic data.

Report levels

The first publication will be of gross publications open to a high level of the public. The second publication will be more on detailed per Major Group and Impact driven.

Budget

The first publication budget will limit to 160 for research, 40 for publishing, and 20 for organization. Altogether, a total of 220 hours a € 75,00. Additional costs will be spent on traveling, printing and meetings. These will be budgeted at € 4.500,00 (for not NL countries). A total € 21.000,000 altogether.

Aim and spin-off

The aim is to make the specific country aware about the gap and actually needed action for sustainable survival. The spin-off is two-dimensional: To define action and projects; To copy/past the research and advice methodology for other countries.

Sponsors reward - For the sponsored country

All sponsors investing € 25,00 or more will receive the first report free of charge. Sponsors investing € 50,00 or more will receive both reports free of charge.
